We've had a lot of watermelon en maison de Stevenson lately. And while it's good to eat - fresh OR frozen - it's also really fun to drink. After all, what's more refreshing than watermelon? We made this goodness when some dear friends came to dinner one night, and it was a hit. A very, very dangerous hit. This watermelon sangria is so smooth and so refreshing, you can easily gulp down a few glasses too many without even realizing it...as one friend and I did. Perfect for the dog days of summer, this needs to be in your beverage rotation. End of story. xoxo, E, B, and the Murmurers watermelon sangria ingredients: 1 bottle rosé wine 1 cup St. Germain elderflower liqueur several cups cubed watermelon (I used a mix of fresh and frozen) 1 bunch mint leaves, roughly chopped directions: Mix ingredients together in pitcher. Allow to sit a few hours, or as long as overnight. Enjoy...responsibly! nutrition: eh, whatever. This recipe adapted from Camille Styles.
