I don't really feel knowledgeable enough to write about San Francisco, seeing as we were only there about two hours, but I took a lot of pictures and they're pretty good, so you're getting my opinion on the city, for whatever it's worth. Our first stop after the airport and rental car place was the Ghirardelli Factory, and from there we walked around Fisherman's Wharf and the surrounding areas. We stopped off at Crissy Field Beach to get a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge before heading up to San Francisco. It was fast and furious, but San Fran seems cool and I'd love to eventually spend more time there. For now, enjoy what we did see. xoxo, E & B where we ate The Ghirardelli Factory // I hope to God this is self-explanatory, but in case it's not I'll give you a few details. You get a free piece of chocolate just for going in the store. You could wait in line for ten years for a milkshake or ice cream sundae or whatever, or you could be smart and just go buy chocolate. But the bottom line remains: buy chocolate. We bought a bag of 80 different chocolate caramel squares (milk, dark, and sea salt), and they've lasted more than a month now. It's a worthy investment. Fisherman's Wharf // As we strolled along, we found some stands with heaps of incredibly delicious-looking seafood. We bought a bowl of lobster and shrimp, and we took it to the benches near the street performers. It was so fresh and tasty. It was a perfect light afternoon snack before we drove to Sonoma for dinner. If you like seafood - of any kind - check out this area if you're in San Francisco. more photographic evidence
