New season, new round-up of favorite things. Here's what I'm loving this summer. Cultivate What Matters Write the Word journal // One of the ways I learn best is by writing. There's a reason I was such a good (and happy) student - note-taking is my jam. So when I found this journal that offers space for you to write out Bible verses, instead of just reading them, well, I was hooked. In addition to a Bible verse to look up and write, each page has a place to list things you're gratitude for, a place to write down prayers or thoughts, and a spot for you to write your chosen word of the day. Each journal has a different theme (faith, hope, renewal, joy, gratitude), and while I could technically use them ALL, I need a little faith above all else. However...I may be purchasing others soon... Paper Mate Flair pens // What is a new notebook/journal without a new writing implement? The eternal question springs again. All the Cultivate products have the BEST thick paper, so these delicious felt-tip marker-pens don't bleed through. Plus, the colors are SO fun. Toms watermelon espadrilles // So I have this thing with watermelon printed stuff. It started with a Kate Spade watermelon purse that I didn't even actually buy. But my obsession was born. These are a cute addition to a summer wardrobe, and they just make me so happy to look at. Plus, they're super comfortable. And every time you buy a pair of shoes from Toms, they donate a pair to a child in need. Do good, look good. Puffin + Pantone collection // Oh my gosh, you guys. I about lost it when I saw these books. It didn't help that the first one I saw was The Secret Garden, one of my all-time favorite children's books. The collection features middle-grade classics redesigned with covers that look like Pantone color swatches. And each book is paired with its perfect Pantone color match ( e.g., the exact shade of the Yellow Brick Road in The Wizard of Oz). I absolutely adore the chic simplicity of these beloved classics. Ouai Wave Spray and Texturizing Hair Spray // Summer heat means putting down the blow-dryer. The salesgirl at Sephora recommended these products to me, and I haven't been disappointed. I like them both, but the wave spray is definitely my favorite, and it smells absolutely amazing. Just spritz it on damp or dry hair, scrunch a little, and go. Perfection.
