Even though I'm not a bride anymore, I had the opportunity to review some beauty products through Influenster since I've gone to two weddings already this year, and have another coming up in the next month. I love a good excuse to get dressed up and pretty, so this was fun. If you have any weddings or other events this summer, read on! xoxo, E Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner. This was pretty good. My hair tends to be fairly hydrated anyway, so I didn't notice a huge difference, but it smelled good and made my hair really soft, so that's a plus. I'm a pretty big fan of my old-school pink Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner, but if you've got dry hair and you're looking for a new shampoo and conditioner, this is a great pick. Ardell Lashes. For the love, y'all, I tried. I really, really tried. But the fact remains that the only time I've ever worn false eyelashes in my entire life was on my wedding day (well, and bridal portrait day), and in that instance someone else was putting them on me. I cannot put on false eyelashes. I tried, and it was just a disaster. So I'm sure these are great false eyelashes, but I can't actually give you a decent review because I couldn't even get them on. Simple Skincare Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes. These were a hit. They took my eye makeup right off, and they did not bother my absurdly sensitive skin one bit. It's nice that they're easily portable - they're going to be a staple in my travel bag. Highly recommended. Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel. It has baffled my mother since I was about 11 or so, but I seriously sweat...and smell. Or as she once put it, "You smell like a 400-pound man." Um, thanks, Mom. Anyway. There's no skipping deodorant around here. I love Secret brand anyway, but this stuff kept me dry and odor-free for quite a while and I loved the subtle lavender scent. Win.
