I really hate reading on my tablet, but despite that, all my books this month were ebooks. Three were books I'd been granted to review from NetGalley, and two were Amazon Kindle Daily Deal $1.99 ebooks that I couldn't turn down.
Despite my distaste for reading electronically, each of these books was really good. I highly recommend them all - but then, I suggest you buy a paper copy instead :) xoxo, E

Okay, I know it's technically still winter for another month. But you guys, this is my very favorite time of year - when it's just starting to think about getting warm, when this ridiculous South Carolina weather finally, finally makes it up to me for our long, miserable summers.
I love spring. It's no accident our wedding was in April. But more than spring itself, I love this time of year, this almost-ness, those surprise warm days that make everyone happy. That first, tiptoe-ing whisper of the pretty weather to come does something special for my soul. It's like I come out of hibernation and love ALL THE PRETTY COLORFUL THINGS. No more of the navys and chocolate browns and blacks of fall and winter. GIVE ME ALL OF THE COLORS. So in celebration, I've amassed a roundup of my favorite bright, colorful, eye-catching goodies right now. I hope you love them, too! xoxo, E New York City is my first travel love. The first time my parents took me here, at the wildly impressionable age of 13, I was blown away by how very, very different it was to my rural/suburban North Carolina upbringing. Some people are turned off by those differences. I was not. I fell in Love, with a capital L.
To say I love Tuscany (really, Italy in general) is one of those ridiculous, no-duh statements, like "The sky is blue," or "Coffee is life." So when I found this Tuscany-in-a-bowl recipe, I was all over it. Bonus points because it met all our nutritional requirements.
One of the many, many questions we get when it comes to our new dietary regime is, "How on earth do you plan meals?!"
Really, y'all, it's not as hard as you think - and I'm going to share our secrets with you. Keep reading to learn my secrets to organize your meal prep and planning.
I have figured out a crucial component to this clean-eating business: you can slather just about anything with garlic and butter, and it'll be fantastic. These carrots are no exception.
